Our Story

Now the Circle Got Even Bigger

Now the Circle Got Even Bigger

Jeff Wiley — treasure hunter, cowboy, mountain man, and talented lapidary artist, is now creating one-of-a-kind jewelry from his rare collection of turquoise, opals, and other natural gemstones in Juneau, AK. Born on the Crow Reservation and connected to both the Crow and Cheyenne people, Jeff comes from a proud lineage of horsemen and ranching traditions on both sides of his family. His family moved to Petersburg, AK in the late 1950’s. His father was a gillnet fisherman. The family spent the fishing season in Alaska and the off-season in Montana and Eastern Oregon.

Raised among the spirit of the West, surrounded by Native craftsmanship, cowboy culture, and the raw beauty of the mountains, Jeff developed a deep appreciation for authentic handmade art at an early age. Those lifelong influences can still be seen in every piece he creates today, handcrafted jewelry that blends rugged Southwestern character, Native-inspired artistry, and the timeless beauty of natural stones.

Jeff owns the Bell Trading Post Turquoise Collection, one of the largest collections of old SW American turquoise, which includes over 40 old, rare, and closed USA mines.  Using these rare turquoise stones, Jeff transforms nature’s treasures into wearable works of art, each piece carrying its own story, soul, and connection to the American West.
